What an absolutely gorgeous finish you have. Totally beautiful. And you never post too much. There isn't a rule about the amount of posting allowed (if there was, I would be in significant trouble).
I also agree with Wendy that fractional stitches are soooo much easier when you stitch on an evenweave, stitching over 2. I stitched a few Teresa Wentzler designs on Aida when I first started stitching and until the fabric softened up it was not easy going. The new project is lovely! More proof that enabling each other is time very well spent !!

I love the finish on your Ducks Flying one, they look so real and alive, especially the duck just getting started. A wonderful finish to a beautifully stitched masterpiece.
I am delighted to see this lovely design being stitched again and I totally agree that switching to the linen will make it look even more real.
BTW you can never "post too much or too often" I for one all love to keep up with all the doings and happenings

Thank you so much for all the kind comments - they really do mean a lot to me!
Yesterday I started stitching the birds, and WOW, they are SUCH a joy to stitch. I'm taking part in a project where I have to stitch 300 on my Permin and 600 on my other Anchor piece this week (tomorrow there'll even be a third number announced which is to be stitched this week) but I just couldn't get my hands off the birds.
So today's morning (I've cought a cold so no work for me today, just stitching) I finished up the 300 on Permin (will show that one soon again), nearly another 200 on the birds and now I'm going to start on the daunting 600 on Kasuga Shrine. Wish me luck!
I LOVE your flying Ducks . A beautiful finish indeed.
Your wooden thread sorter is something, that I have never seen before. Also, the way you arranged the thread and platted them is so good!
You are obviously very meticulous in all your work, that is why it is so perfect.

For quite some time I had lost my stitchy bug and also there was little free time...
But now I finally seem to have found it again and here is the first two parts of the lavender SAL by crocette a gogo: https://crocetteagogo.blogspot.com/2019 ... ender.html
There will be two more parts, the third one has just been released today.
