:applesauce: :applesauce: Pamela is looking beautiful!!! You can even tell she is pleased with her name. I have a feeling that she isn't going to be waiting too long to have a body to go along with her lovely head!

She has a wonderful eye and expression. She does look even better than on the cover kit. :)

 I love how much detail is squeezed into that small little eye. I love your fabric choice, too! Great job! :applesauce:

:tantrum: I'm having a moan!!

Pamela Puffin has too many white/beige/cream colours on her chest/tummy! Even with my wonderful magnifying LED light I'm struggling. I've not had a :ribbit: problem (yet) but just trying to see which colour is which when picking up the stitching after a few days of not stitching is driving me #~*!!

Also I really hate (I've already said this) the threads! They are so soft especially the darker ones.

I shall finish it but although I love the Wrendale designs I won't be stitching another! I would have to change both the threads and the fabric and that's just not economic. I respect Bothy's policy for not offering charts.

Pamela will just take longer to do.

What a shame! But try to think how much more you will love Pamela when you finish and how much Pamela will love you for persevering. The only option is to go slow and check and double check the threads. Your updates will be that much more worth waiting for.

I'm sorry the threads and the colours are frustrating - perhaps try an do the light colours when you can stitch in daylight, by a good window? Just keep thinking of how beautiful she will look when she's finished!

Awwww that's ashame Wendy I find some of the threads can be rather thin and stringy and I hate the black. I changed the black in the Collie kit for my own DMC from my stash. Even though Pamela will take longer to finish she will definitely be worth it! :applesauce:

Aww, I'm sorry you don't like the threads Wendy, I have done what Nicola did and switched out the black, it was just too stringy, I swap for Anchor though, it seems to be better than DMC black.

Pamela will be worth it in the end, she will be a beautiful Puffin.
