Am back from holiday & noticed this one. I have it , started a while ago put it away, never picked it up so it's a UFO. I must dig it out & start again, seeing this has given me incentive as it is very colourful but a serene picture, could easily relax here.

Ooohhh, this is going to be a lovely project to work on. You've made a great start, such lovely colours.

I could sit right there on that veranda under that pergola with a nice glass of something long and cool.

Thanks you all. Starting to take shape now. Done dark side of villa roof & a few stitches of pink faÃ§ade. Work upwards now as many greens before sky - when I need a break from them will drop down & carry on with villa front, can work between both sections. It's 16 ct so will be quite detailed. Enjoying it now few more colours involved

Threads not as good as normal on this one, some very thin strands so taken to railroading stitches to make sure of good coverage.

Took a look at my threads on kit & some are rather flimsy. A shame as they used to be excellent. Maybe that was why I put lakeside village away for a while because I got fed up with quality of threads. May sort out some of my own to put to it.

Good start Daisy. I also have this one. I love Dimensions too. My GDs want me to re-start this one before I pick up the other UFO, Dimensions large Geisha Elegance of the Orient. Look forward to seeing this again as ti is a colourful scene.
