Thank you everyone! Working on the dark grey around her legs now. She's so fun to stitch :D

Have stitched all the dark grey on Mavis now. She's really coming along and I love stitching her but really want to move on to another one now

I can imagine that you want to be done with her now. But she's so cute!
I don't know if you have answered this already but I found out that the Hannah Dale kits normally come with dotted/speckled fabric. Now I'm just really curious, why you decided not to use it on Mavis?

I have always had a bit of an issue with getting creases out of my aida, and normally buy rolls from the website Stitcher, and I started Mavis on this aida before I tried ironing out the speckled aida which came with her. Pete the Peacock is the first one I've used with the speckled aida but will see what I will do with the others. I have lovely light oatmeal aida in a roll which I may use for the hare or the fox. I think they would look nice on that. Also I love the hoop I'm using for Mavis but the speckled aida that comes with her is slightly too small for it. Have to use my Elbesee easy frames for those ones. Sorry that was a really long answer

Thank you for your explanation Nicola-perfectly understandable that you have changed the fabric.

Where oh where does the time go? I can just never find enough spare time to stitch these days so Mavis is coming along at a snail's pace! I've stitched most of the right side (her left) and just have some backstitching left to do there. Then I can focus on the other side!
