HEAD the space traveler FINISHED page 2

Post by paul »

I'm back!

I haven't stitched in over 2 years, I did come close to getting rid of all my stitching stash. Few months ago I just picked this back up it was last project I worked on. I haven't put it down since. Only 3 pages to go

I love your space traveller. I was so upset that HaED stopped doing it before I found them. (There isn't any chance this is a paper pattern you would be willing to part with when you're done is there?)

Just flicked through your PB and OMG how lovely is all your work. SO glad you got back into it and came back here. :D

That is most impressive. It's well worth finishing, given how remarkable it looks at the moment.

Keep up the good work.

What a great work! There is more to your stitching than just an embroidery technique- it's making the world a better, more beautiful place.

Happy stitching!

I found out why it was discontinued last week.
I've had so many people say they want this but sadly no longer for sale. So I contacted HAED about it asking if I could pass on my PDF file to one person as not like there missing out on a sale of you can't buy it. Lady told me I can't. Main reason being the BBC went for the designer big time. So they had to remove it from sale. Me sharing it would make matters worse for them.

I did wonder if something like that had happened to force it's removal from sale. :(

Thanks for getting back to me anyway. :D

I'll just have to enjoy it vicariously through your updates. :D

Stunning! I guess BBC found a cash cow with Dr. Who...I know the show has exploded over here in the US. I don't ever remember hearing about it until about 2 - 3 years ago, and now it seems like every one has binge watched years of the series through Netflix or something like it. Well now, that's not exactly true, I watched Craig Ferguson's late night show and he used to have the Tardis (sp?) on his desk but it was only his UK guests that seemed to know what it was.

Oh my gosh, Paul, this is fabulous!!!! I love Love LOVE L-O-V-E it!!!! I'm so happy you picked it back up and have not quit stitching. (You are far too talented to give it up.) Please continue to share your progress on it.

The reason for HAED discontinuing it is interesting. I've always thought HAED only did "legal" charts. Learn something new every day.

It's so good to see your name in the posts again.

They had the permission of the artist but I'm not sure if the artist had permission to use the image and HaED meant it came to the attention of the BBC whereas small etsy designers naybe don'e get spotted so often.
