I'm back with a progress picture
Hi guys...I'm back..after letting work take over my life i got sick with a bad ass cold that is still lingering 2 weeks later because of stress from being enemy number one among the younger servers, the boss quiting and the youngest twit taking his spot..and working myself to death i came down with one hell of a cold..i called off only 1 day for it tho. Getting sick and about reaching my breaking point to telling them all to f off i'm done...the stronger side of my personality one. The side that is tougher than rhyno hide and way more stubborn..i decided to start re-evaulting my life..
i went from work 5-6 days with at least 1 or 2 doubles a week to 4 days with only 1 double guaranteed but i usually work 2 and i am making more time for my therapy which is my crafts. i was barely crafting and it was showing in my mental health. I've not sewed or machine embroidered in months..but i decided at least 1 of my days off will be just for that.
We have a thrift store here who profits go to the center for life enrichment. It's a center that helps people with mental, emotional, and cognitive disorders. so i am going to start sewing and embroidering stuff to donate so they can sell at a profit to support the center. I have emotional and mental disorders so i will help these causes if I can. I am fortunate that I am high functioning and have my couple of friends and couple of family members...
Anyways here is my progress picture. It is Peacock Mandala by NEN...i am almost done just waiting on the thread pack cause i ran out to finish the last quadrant and then to get a beading needle and bling it out...I will try to poke around more and not vanish again

Glad to see you back and glad to hear that you have brought some balance into your life again. That is a beautiful design, beautifully stitched!! What a great idea to donate your finished pieces! Looking forward to seeing more!

Getting on nicely, and it is a nice design.
As for 'life' happening in the background, I can rarely think of a more appropriate case for the motto
'Nihil illegitimi carborundum'. https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q= ... borundum&*
Regards,
Richard.
