I love this design ! I will stitch it someday... But I have so much designs, it's hard to choose when it's time to start a new one... (I'm pretty sure you all have the same problem ! ).

Well, it's a nice start, can't wait to see more.

I know what you mean about having to choose! Having five different SQ designs, I knew that this is my favorite of the bunch, but I debated if I should do a smaller one that would take less time. But, as I get older and see family members become debilitated and have to give up lifelong hobbies (my dad's Parkinson's means that he has to sell his woodworking shop), I realized that I am going to do my favorite first, because you never know when you might lose the chance to do it at all.

Sorry--feeling rather philosophical today!

Just finished page one! Lots of confetti, of course--it is a Scarlet Quince pattern!

Edited to add: Glad I posted that pic and looked it over! Turns out I missed a stitch! Took a bit to figure out which color, but it's taken care of now.

You seemed to finish this first page in record time. I am glad you were able to figure out your missed stitch. Those missed stitches can be a bother if you don't find them quickly enough.

I am looking forward to more updates and page finishes. :D

Just finished Page Two!! Moving right along on it, but I am debating if I will bring it with me when I fly out to the East Coast on April 1 to help my mom move to Florida. Lots of nights in hotel rooms on the drive down then a few days at my brother's near Tampa means I should have some free hours for stitching, but I will have to see how much space will be in my carryon suitcase.

Oh, well, the next update might take more than a month!

So far, your work looks great. As for taking it with you... Personally I would leave it at home (as a large complicated project needs concentration) and would take along a couple of Christmas/Easter cards to stitch during my travel. Whatever you decide on, I am sure you will find time for stitching and hope you will show us the result(s) of your work during the journey. Good luck with everything!

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful update! I love this and I love your stitching!

I had to go back and check the date you are flying east to make sure it isn't today or tomorrow with this crazy winter blizzard in the Northeast. You just said east coast, but I'm guessing northeast since you said it would be a few nights on the road on the drive down. After this week, I'm sure your mother is going to be so happy to have moved South. Hopefully by April 1 you will have no problems traveling.

Looking forward to your next update!
