it actually wasn't that bad doing the cross country as I did the top rows and worked my way down, so only had to count a few spaces, but I do tend to count more than once just to be sure.

Really is starting to look very nice. I love the random way you are doing areas rather than confining yourself to finishing a page at a time.

Regards,

Richard.

I like the effect of the stitches scattered across the fabric, it gives you an idea of all the other lovely parts that are going to be there!

thank you for your lovely comments. I do love to stitch randomly, some times a page just grabs you and that's what I love.

I'm loving your progress on this one. Ijust started it yesterday as my HaED challenge piece, though I've only got about 600 stitches done so far.

You are making a beautiful job. :D

hi, thank you. I am not using a stand, I use a frame and just fold the excess fabric and pin it to the edge, works ok for me.

Thank you. Ahhh I didn't realise there was a new challenge, oh may have to start a new page and join that one, as I am amazed I managed to complete a previous challenge in the allotted time.

I am just loving how The Astronomer is coming together, this is a challenge page, has to be completed by the end of March to get a free HAED chart (as if I need another one).

It's amazing how a few stitches here and there can make such a difference in the way it looks.

Hope you don't mind me posting this, as I love showing the detail.

Great update for the challenge. I agree that it's so much fun to see watch how an image can appear or get clearer with just a few stitches in just the right place. I'm looking forward to more updates.
