Hello, I'm Kandi, early 50s, & started stitching about 20 years ago.
Thank you for PM Serinde. Realised late last night should have come on Welcome instead of adding details to message I had put re persons work/design in magazine. When I came on to do that just now I saw someone had left a PM. Kind of you Still finding my way around.

Welcome to the forum from the West of Scotland! It takes time to find your feet, but you'd best take some (virtual) breadcrumbs... wouldn't want you to get lost!
Welcome to the forum from South Carolina! It doesn't take too long to figure your way around the forum. A few important places to know (Serinde may have already told you) is our virtual pub, The Stash and Grab, open to all and everything and anything you could ever want is available at no charge and with no nasty consequences (no calories, no hangovers, no allergies). We also have our Cross Stitcher's Ward,
a wonderful place to rest and recover from any and all afflictions . The softest beds and warmest blankets and tastiest medicines around. More TLC than you could ask for. Hope you won't ever need it but also a good place for just some R & R if required.
Looking forward to getting to know you.

Thank you. I do not have any particular themes, just do whatever appeals to me. I do ordinary ones. HAED are amazing & I look forward to seeing the Dreamers Tree being stitched but I do not want to do one. Like to see what others have done, beautiful items in the gallery pages.

One of the (many) things I love about this forum is the wide variety of types of designs we stitch. It's fun to see everyone's WIP's, so I hope you'll share yours with us. I'm like you - I tend to stitch whatever appeals to me (or whatever hollers loudest for attention).
