I do Slimming World. I run the check-in till at my local group so I don't have any excuses - I can't not go!

But I've still been messing about for a year out of target. I only need to lose 10 pounds, but I've kept losing focus. Anyway, hoping for a better result this time. I'm going on holiday on 22 February and I want to get as much of those 10 pounds off as I can by then.

I've also made myself an incentive. I collect little robot ornaments, so if I have a loss at my weigh-in each Thursday, I'm "allowed" to buy a new robot. If I maintain or gain, no robot. And I really want more of them. Better to buy a robot than a cake for a treat, hahaa.

Clever! May there be as many robots as you hope for, within reason (I don't know how many of these robots there are, but we don't want you to disappear altogether!)

Non-food incentives are a great idea - as long as it's not more stash! I'm reaching overload...

I went back to Weightwatchers on 7th Jan, and so far have lost 11lbs. My head's in the right place at the mo.

I have managed to lose 2 stone over the last 6 months. Used to be a ww member but it wasn't working for me so I have been calorie counting with the help of My Fitness app on my phone and also my lovely son has been acting as my life coach.
I also have a new man in my life and we have just decided to get married next summer so now I have the ultimate incentive. It is a second marriage for us both and at the age of 46 I won't be doing the full wedding dress thing but I will want to look very special. Another stone off and I will be happy.
