polyanthus bookmark or border

Post by Amanda G »

I've posted a free to download polyanthus bookmark/border for any of you who would like to make use of it. It's a very spring-time design of mauve and yellow and it makes me want to eat chocolate eggs......not that there are any of those in this design!
It's available on my blogspot.

They are gorgeous Amanda and just right for spring. Will download it and store for future reference.

I was thinking of you the other night and meant to get in touch as it seems ages since you have posted on here. Great to see you back :D and thank you for yet another very pretty and useful design.

Sally: I haven't posted or lurked here for a while as I've had quite a bit of work, designing for UK magazines and also Dutch and Turkish ones plus starting up an Etsy shop. I still like to lurk here when I have time as I like to see what you are all stitching. I'm not grumbling about the work though....I love doing it! :D
One of the designs you all advised me on (a few years ago now) was a spring cottage. Do you remember it? A cottage with a border of daffodils, primroses, violets and bluebells. This design was taken up by a Dutch magazine who then wanted 3 more cottage designs to make a series. These have all been published in Borduurblad magazine. So although I have been kept busy, I'm not complaining !

Good to know you are keeping busy and how lovely your gorgeous cottage got an airing along with the new ones you built too. Well done and well deserved. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:
