Here are a couple of my recent smaller finishes---first one is Bent Creek's Harvest Moon---with a few modifications

Image

And the second one is from Stoney Creek magazine---likely to be a Christmas gift for my sister--love the fabric, it's a cloudy smoke grey mixed with white--28 count

I'm working on a dice bag or a friend of mine. It will be made of black aida with a red lining. I'm stitching a large d20 (a d20 is a 20 sided polyhedral die) on the front. The opposite side will have words stitched onto it. I'm still deciding between "Dice of dubious results" or "That's how I roll"

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a progress picture.

I'm making a dice bag for myself too, it will have a monster that looks like this on the front

Image

With the words "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder" on the back (that type of monster is called a beholder)

That looks appropriate for Halloween! Looks awfully big for a mini project, but it is hard to envision size when there isn't anything to compare it to.

Ha! well, it will probably look a bit more like this, once I simplify it enough to fit on a dice bag.

First Christmas finish. An ornament I made for my friend who lost her house a week before Christmas last year. So I am replacing it because she really liked it. It's a fast stitch too

Both the stitching and the gesture are beautiful. How is your friend doing?

She is doing good . She has her days when she is a bid low (she saw a fire truck on her street one day when coming home and had a bit of a panic attack until she realize they were just testing the fire hydrants in the area) but her new man in her life helps a lot. She just bought a new pom puppy from Russia, he is a gorgeous black and tan male and she is looking forward to start breeding her two girls when they are old enough.

Lovely things everyone has made - I enjoy the Christmas themed ones. Snowmen, owls & snowflakes are always very pretty. The skull must be awesome to stitch. Look forward to seeing photos of it when you start. :applesauce: :D
