You are such a quick stitcher!! Wow. I'm in absolute awe over how fast you stitch.

That's looking amazing. What a great job.

Wow! This is not only beautiful but intimidating. I'm intimidated and I'm not even doing it. How are you going to frame it? I often wonder about all these things we do and where they'll end up. This would be considered an heirloom in m opinion. Something to pass down.

I can't imagine what it must be like to stitch THAT many pages just in one piece! I'd never try a HAED, but this one tops everything.
Your stitching is so beautiful!

I agree even their QS is way to big.
You have done some lovely work.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :whoop: I don't have enough adjectives to describe how absolutely magnificently beautiful this is. Your stitching is beyond amazing!!!

I think I will add that this is a Golden Kite, not HAED, design which means that besides being large in size it uses blended threads also. This increases not only the detail of the piece, but the amount of work involved.

It is an amazing piece.

Vanessa, it's great to see progress on something you want to do now. The stitching is just so tiny in comparison to the size of the piece that in some ways it must be a little disheartening.

There are about 4x more stitches in this project than I have stitched in my entire life (865 x 995 - so 871620 stitches. 195 colours, 113 of which are blends according to the GK site). I think you must be either totally dedicated, very stubborn or utterly nuts. Or maybe any mix of those three. I do hope you don't tire of the picture half way through!

Regards,

Richard.

I think I'm probably just nuts! I will try my best to finish this one. I have had lots of people say they don't think I will ever finish it so I am determined to prove them wrong! :D
