I recently found an older Dimensions Gold Collections Petite kit that I fell in love with and was able to get for a really great price---I opted for using an 18 ct unknown evenweave in navy rather than the 18 ct. navy aida that was in the kit---design is from 2001 and here is how it will look when finished
I started about a week ago and this is my progress so far

Nice picture, but I think you need to watch out. I think a speeding ticket is in order if it only takes you a couple of weeks! There's nothing quite like utterly showing everyone else up...
Keep it up, only muttering because I wish I could do the same.

It is a pretty small design--about 5 by 7 inches on the 18 ct. -it may take 3 weeks or a bit longer---depending on these aging eyes!!

This is such a sweet little piece. I don't know why they call these projects "Petite". I know they are relatively smaller, but they are sooo detailed, I would hardly call them petite.
You're making such quick progress. Thank you for sharing your progress pictures.
And I'm finished---changed it just a wee bit---as I didn't like the extra bit by his coat on his right side---still haven't sorted out why that is there---here it is all finished!!
and another Christmas design---much smaller---it's a prairie schooler one stitched on 32 ct linen in driftwood

What a lovely picture, it is just great. Well done. Look forward to seeing the new one you have started. Nice for you to do an easier one after that big one. Great finish.
They are both fantastic. I love the Santa and you did a great job! Love the little prairie house and the Santa flying overhead too!
