Glendon Place Amazing Desserts SAL - Status Update!

I know it's not time for a check-in, but I thought I'd share my progress anyway. (The colors in the photo are, as usual, not quite right, but you'll be able to see that I've finished the outer borders...yay!) I am loving working on this one, but I'm going to set it aside for a few days while I try to get more done on the Faces of Joan Elliott SAL.

Great progress - I like the border looking almost a little ghostly floating on the fabric!

These are all lovely designs and such pretty colours - it's impossible to pick a favourite. I have no idea which I'd choose if I was doing it

Lovely update and wonderfully stitched

I have recently seen the one called Red Velvet Cake and am trying to talk my daughter into doing it as it would look so right in her living room with the colouring of it, they are all yummy looking lol

Made some good progress on Plum Pudding and since July 15 is far away wanted to post this now. Hope to make a bit more progress by then, but once the replacement thread arrived my fingers were itching to stitch it. It is a lot of fun to stitch and I had my usual feline companion.

Laverne much prefers stitching on a hoop rather than Q-snaps. Literally.

It's very pretty, Carole! And I'm glad Laverne is supervising you - does she help you count?

I'm really enjoying Pumpkin Swirl, although I don't think I've ever counted, recounted, and counted again so many times. I've said it before, but these geometric patterns leave no room for a counting error.

fccs - Your pumpkin swirl looks great!

I really wish I had the time & energy to stitch right now. 3rd trimester with 67 days to go! And I told my close friend that I'd stitch something for her baby's room and she's only 10 weeks behind me....better get stitching!

Thanks. I hope you'll find some time to stitch, but boy, that last trimester can be tiring. Hopefully we can meet up at least for a little bit next month.

I think I goofed up the purple upper right (the part not finished with the holes in it).... I decided to skip down to the center and go back later and see how I goofed it up and miss counted. I hope that decision doesn't come back to haunt me later making everything else off too....

How's everyone else coming along??
