Happiest Celebration on Earth - Nearly Finished

Post by shauniew »

I'm racing to get this done now. Just got a bit of backstitching, some twinkly bits and some beads

That's beautiful.

My daughter in law would love that. She's a major Disnet fan.

It looks great! Sadly, the ones I've seen on eBay have been photocopies and I didn't see any of the kits when I was at the parks in August.

Done !!! Got it finally finished on Wednesday night. It's at the picture framers now.
Blimey, aren't Mill Hill beads fiddly little things? I had to shut out the cat while I put those on.
And never, ever, ever again am I doing a project with that amount of lone stitches all over the place. There's nowhere to anchor them to and some came loose during washing. I did glue some of the ends together but wasn't keen on the results I was getting,

Image

Oh and isn't photobucket so much easier for including photos in posts? I've given up on Google now - too complicated.

My next stitch will be Snow White Discovers the Cottage.

It's fantastic - lone stitches and fiddly beads and all. I can't even begin to tell you how much I really, really love this!!! Boy, do I miss Disneyland!

(The Happiest Celebration on Earth was the 50th birthday celebration for Disneyland; while I wasn't there for the opening day, I was there on THE 50th birthday. It was great fun!)

I love it! For the future, look at the pin head method for those pesky little individual stitches.
