G'day my name is Keith and I live in Sydney Australia and I have been doing Cross Stitch since I was introduced to it by my wife's cousin in England in 95 and started my first one on the plane home. there wasn't a problem with scissors and needles then. I have done about 9 or 10 since and my latest has been on the go for a couple of years as it is a little bit big 90cm x 70cm but I only have 20cm x 20cm left in the top corner to do and back stitch of course . Anyway said enough for now. Bye keith

Hello from snowy Colorado and welcome to the forum.

Okay, so I had to Google a converter to see how big your WIP is in inches and all I can say is holy moly! I hope you'll share pictures of it. Do you like backstitching? It's not my favorite (although I love the effect once it's done) so I tend to do it as I go.

 Hi Keith and Welcome from wonderfully cool Brisbane its great to have another Aussie on board.

You sure like large designs, thankfully I have an old 15" ruler as well as a more modern version with mm and cm on so easy to convert your measurements to something I can understand. This old head does not like cm or mm :D

I would love to see a picture of your WIP too it sounds awesome.

Welcome from the West of Scotland! I should perhaps point out there are other chaps around on the forum, in case you feel totally outnumbered. (Well, you are outnumbered but we don't care if you don't.) We love :camera:! Also feel free to make yourself comfortable in our pub, the Stash & Grab, which does a fine line of comestibles in a virtual environment. :tea: :cake: :coffee: :choc:

Thanks for the welcome and I will post a picture when I'm able.
I stuffed up on the measurement and measured the frame as well only 70cm wide (Sorry)
Thanks Keith

Hi there and welcome! Remember, it's not how long it takes to do a piece that's important. It's enjoying what you're doing that counts. :whoop:
