Newbie in Texas
Hey there, I'm new to this forum thing, but super excited to make friends with other stitches. I've never had any friends who cross stitch. I just picked up my cross stitching hobby again last year after several years of putting it aside. My family and I moved to Texas last summer, originally from Northwest Florida. I have already stashed so many new projects I want to start, but I'm currently working on "the Addams family" and I only have maybe an hour or two left to finish. I refuse to allow myself a new start until I complete it. Then I intend to start a couple of things. One is the frosted pumpkins "storyline sal"
Talk to u soon,
Melissa

Hi Melissa. I hope you'll show us your projects...we love pictures. I was a one project at a time stitcher until I joined the forum...those days are long gone.

Hi Melissa and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Glad that you found us and glad that you returned to stitching. I was also a one project at a time stitcher before joining the forum. I have definitely made some changes there (as you can see in my signature). This is a great place to make stitchy friends, learn new things if you want to and get lots of encouragement too. I hope that you will post pictures of your work and progress. We love pictures. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Ok, please forgive the presumptuousness, but I will join in and welcome you, as though I were a longtime established member myself.
I just couldn't help observing that you demonstrate the observation that you never need to ASK someone if they're from Texas!
