thank you everyone. Dorris, I can't wait to see yours. I use Mrs MBK's pictures to look at for the specialty stitches also. It is a lot of fun to stitch, isn't it?? What fabric and thread are you using?

Taken a week but I finished Band 7 and Band 8. What I couldn't believe is that as I was stitching the last 12 or 15 sheaf stitches on the last row of Band 8, I could see a mistake I had made in the stitch it would be attached to in the previous row. I tried to work around it, but that didn't work since everything was off. Frogging this was tricky because it meant frogging Elongated Diamond Smyrna Cross Stitch between Diamond Smyrna Cross Stitches. And trying to not fray the thread wasn't easy. I did manage however, better than I expected to. I still have more stitching with this color and it is hard for me to judge how much thread I have left on the spools, so I am trying to be frugal. Anyway, putting it away till next week-end when I will be off to Florida for a few days (different thread on that later). My helpers were very encouraging while I was muttering bad words under my breath. Wore them out though as you can see:

Beautiful update!! So sorry about having to frog those stitches but I am so glad it all working out in the end!!! The girls are looking very happy!!!

Really Carole you shouldn't wear out your dear Ladies like that - poor Laverne especially needs to rest her sore paws after all that frogging. Fabulous to see them both again.

Great update and hurray that you managed the difficult frogging.

Bands 9 and 10 completed! Despite some arguing with Laverne as to whose project this is!

Bands 1-10

Now that the bands will be getting smaller, this should progress more smoothly. I find that working on it during the HAED non HAED SAL week keeps me at it. Also taking it with on trips since it is much easier than trying to take any of my HAEDs except Burden (still working on black black black there) on a plane.
