What an inspired idea to use bugle beads for the body :applesauce: much more ralistic than the round ones, really! I was looking forward to this one, your colours are so striking I just knew it was going to look great.
I can't quite see what beads you've used for the square filets, are they bugles as well? *note to self: try beaded stitches with bugle bead*

I love your colour scheme Mags, very subtle, very much in contrast to Wendy!!!! So vibrant. I love your dragonflies' bodies in the bugle beads. What a great idea :applesauce:
Two beautiful yet very different colour schemes  :applesauce:

The beads for the square filets are the same round ones I've used before, Clear with a blue insert... they don't show up as well on the photo as I used the dark for the filet threads.

Well, in the chaos of sleepless nights and zero time for myself, I did manage to slowly stitch December, despite Erik's habit of crying every time I picked up a needle. :P So happy to been able to take part in this SAL and to actually make it within the time frame designed for it! :D Once again, thank you so much, Mabel!!

I agree with Mabel. Two gorgeous projects! :applesauce: :applesauce: Congrats on finishing the SoW so beautifully. It's amazing how they seem to know just when you would like a little bit of stitchy time (or sleep time for yourself) that it is the time to demand attention! Hopefully you will all get more sleep soon :D .

I've just finished putting away my beads and perles, and the printed copy of all the charts have been put into the folder I have with all the marked up copies of finished charts because I have finally have had a chance to stitch December.

Threads: Presencia Cream and Cotton Garden Burgandy, Tool Shed, Sweet Gum, Blue Wren, and Peacock. Beads for dragonflies are Miyuki size 15 and square filets are size 11 (I don't have a needle that will thread Perle #12 and fit through a size 15 bead)

All designs together

All I have to do now is to trim them down and turn them into coasters once I get the cardboard to put behind them.

Thank you Mabel for the wonderful SAL.

:applesauce: :applesauce: I agree. December is beautiful and all of them together is stunning. They will be coasters that are too pretty to cover up with a glass of anything!
