Back again!

Hi everybody. Some of you may remember that I joined the forum quite a while ago, but haven't been on for some time. I've had a quick look through and it's lovely to still see names I remember.

I haven't done any stitching for ages - mainly focusing on knitting socks and crocheting blankets - and I'd decided to start again, I joined Mabel's Song of Weather, and got all my stuff together when I found out that I will probably need eye surgery in the near future. I've got slight double vision at the moment, which makes focusing rather difficult. So, unfortunately, I've had to put the stitching on the back burner for the time being.

Just wanted to say hello to everybody and hope you are all well.

Hello, hello hello! How lovely to have you back with us. Hardanger probably isn't advisable as a craft if you've a bit of double vision... but I hope you can enjoy all that's going on here in the meantime.

Sorry to hear about your eye problems; I hope you get relief soon.

Cross stitching is my main love, but I also crochet, so I hope you'll post some of your work in the "all other crafts" section of the forum. I only crochet afghans and scarves (and a couple hats), and generally only in the winter months. It's just too hot in the summer to hold all that yarn. I've got all the scarves I need now, but have three or four afghans on my to-do list.
