Hi everyone!

Post by Nicola Main »

Hello from eastern Scotland! I'm 26 and have always liked cross stitching. Have been having a rough few months and have decided to take it up again for these long winter nights that are creeping up on us! I bought a lovely Rose Swalwell design called 'Cragside Farm' a while ago but will start on it soon! Will let you all know how I get on with it.

What's everyone else working on?

 Hi Nicola and Welcome from slightly damp Brisbane. Its great to have you along and I hope that your stitching will help you relax from what is throwing at you. Hope you can post picture of your new stitching in the SAL (stitch-a-long) thread.

I am working on the Sweetheart Tree Teenie Tiny 1V with the hardanger centre and am almost finished it. Will start on my Chatelaine x st after that - perhaps.

 Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Looking forward to seeing your work. I stitch a lot of HAED designs and smaller odds and ends and am learning Hardanger stitching through a SAL conducted by one of our very own members, Mabel Figworthy. (have to get back to that soon).
If you look through our SAL section you will find all kinds of different and lovely pieces.

Hi Nicola and greetings from Colorado. I hope stitching helps what isn't going well for you. I find my stitching to be very relaxing and therapeutic.

I'm working in a couple big projects (a Disney one and a tulip design), plus some smaller ones which have lately been receiving all of my attention. I hope to get back to the big ones soon.
