Oh! So glad the surgery went well! and you are able to stitch again.

Chances are the little finger will gradually come back to normal - the nerve feeding it probably got slightly damaged or bruised and it needs time to recover. Bruising heals quite quickly, but actual damage takes longer because - (so I understand, I'm no medic!) - nerves have to grow new fibers around the damage, and that takes longer.
I only know that cos I had moderately serious damage to a major nerve in my right leg when I was a child. Had a bad limp plus pins and needles combined with numbness, which seems much the same as your finger is feeling.
All fingers :x: for speedy recovery!

thanks all
well iam officially discharged
the finger is still a little stiff and he thinks the pins and needles in the little finger is due to my diabetes neorathapies something like that it's called were you loose feelings at nerve ends
anyway if no different in month go back and see GP as mauling in the hand may have triggered it and it may settle down once all the sweeling has gone

i told him as long as it stays pain free i can work around an iffy finger so i am happy
but he did say if it does get bad again get the Doc to refer me back
so just have to work on building the hnad up now
and i don't need physio as i can do the excersises at home

:applesauce: sounds like things are definitely getting better and you are well on the road to recovery. Are you finding it hard to be patient? I would be. Especially with the beautiful projects you had been working on. I'm looking forward to seeing them again, but I would think that slow going will lead to a more permanent and better recovery. and wishes that everything continues to move in the right direction.

Great news!! I hope you are soon back to stitching as much as you like to.

With the tingling it may well be a tweaked nerve that mends. I find that L Lysine, vits E, D and B's generally help nerve mending. But worst case you will get used to the tingling, I'm almost unaware of the numbness and tingling in my cheek, tongue and lips now, I even think they might be getting better, and that's after 6 years.

But chances are that the physio you do will assist the healing. We need you back here showing us your amazing projects :)

Biggest hugs
