Re: Weight Watchers Stitchers

Post by LadyS »

No change in weight this week for me. I had my appointment for the month at the doc's and was happy to see that from last month I had only gained 1lb. If I can keep it up this way I think I can end the pregnancy with the bare minimum gain recommended for my already overweight frame.

Although I know things will get harder for me from now on (5 months next week) for someone who's already struggling with weight to know I made the first 5 months with only one pound gained is an accomplishment!

I hope everyone that gained don't feel discouraged! I hope you have a great week and positive results!

rcperryls wrote::applesauce: Enjoy the time with your daughter. Not a time to worry about diet in my way of thinking. I have gained this week also. Been on a binge of sorts. Since I mostly have fat free, low fat and weight watchers food it isn't as bad as it could have been (I tell myself), but for whatever reason I haven't been able to just stick with fruit etc when I need a nibble. And my cousin and her family will be here for the 4th of July holiday. Monday morning I am going to pretend its a new start and go from there. (Too many good restaurants that I know we will be eating at).

I gained one more pound this week. I think that's 2 total, so so far so good! I haven't been as good as I had been the first few months, I suddenly have more hunger and more cravings, but I'm feeling guilty now that I'm not feeding my baby healthier food so I am determined to do good this week, so I can keep the weight gain to just this one pound this month. :P

Didn't lose any and didn't gain any, so hard to complain. I was pretty good last week so I was a bit disappointed. Tried weighing myself again to make sure the scale was right, but every time I got back on the scale it added weight, so I took the first one and was done with it!

Even being good we don't lose every single week and you know it doesn't mean it's not working, but the less you have to lose, the harder it is, and the longer you diet, the harder it is as well. Just don't get discouraged!

Im not a member of weight watchers but I am starting a diet tomorrow for my holiday in a month. Im not looking for a drastic change just to feel a little more comfortable in my bikinis. Hopefully this thread can give me some motivation/encouragement!

Im going to integrate my stitching with my diet. After so many stitches I get a reward! Its obviously going to be a lot of stitches though! :P

Good luck! I'm looking forward to getting back on my diet after the baby, with extra effort, but for now still trying to keep the weight gain down.

Ive planned my meals out and I think Ill be able to stay on track! :)

I actually started my holiday diet in january and was preplannning meals days in advance and I was doing really well but then I was in a car accident and the recovery/stress from it all put me straight back into the arms of fast food! Ive not been able to focus since but Im gonna get there in the end!

Im having a meal replacement shake in the morning (celebrity slim - they have a variety of favours and are quuite yummy) then Im having a slim a soup, some fruit and a yoghurt for lunch and then at night a salad. I have most fun witht the salads. Favourites are halloumi and slow roasted tomatoes or a classic chicken ceaser with light dressing. Working full time is the main downfall, two meals a day in our super unhealthy canteen five days a week and then my treats at home is not good for my waistline!! So im avoiding the canteen and giving myself treats when I deserve them not just whenever I want them! :)

:applesauce: Well everyone. We all seem to be doing fairly well. I have been started on a pain killer just recently so I keep forgetting to weigh in, so quite a nice surprise this morning. I've lost 2 lb since I last weighed myself. So chuffed, still a long way to go so I won't congratulate myself too much :D

The chicken was a ready meal from morrisons diet range. Was quite nice actually! on at two for £4 right now so its their spaghetti and meatballs for din dins tomorrow!

Im feeling very motivated! Hope you guys are too! :)

Great news, dragonrider! That is good progress!!
I was really bad for about 4 weeks (didn't count points, didn't weigh) but it could have been worse so I count myself lucky. I gained about 3 1/2 lbs but have since lost 2 1/2 of those. Slow going but I am eating healthier (usually).

That's good, Carole!

I'm actually under doctor scrutiny now. On the last appointment I had gained 5 lbs in 4 weeks, but yesterday (another 4 weeks later) I didn't gain anything, and I'm now at the point where I am expected to gain steadily, so we'll see what happens in 3 weeks when I go back!

well I am down to 188lbs which is nice but I want to be 150lbs
I got a good bit of exercise these last 3 days though. My boyfriends uncle needed some help with an off the books roofing job and asked if I wanted to help. took 3 days because it was just me and the 2 guys (they decided they wanted to stand around chatting most of the time while I was shoveling shingles off the roof) and boy am I sore. hopefully that burned enough calories to get my metabolism going.
