What is your favorite brand of scissors?

That is a good idea with the lock. I've had to resort to labeling my tools so they wouldn't end up at work with him. Even though I have crappy girl tools, they always go missing still. Might as well start labeling the scissors as well. In fact, went out on the porch earlier and found one of the new pair of dollar store scissors outside. Apparently it had been left out cause it was rusty and had something like grease on it. Can't live with them and can't live without.

LOL a large number of my scissors were bought with "pretty" being the primary motivator!!! I have been coveting a pair of those marbel DMC ones but every time I order from 1-2-3 stitch they are out of stock - so we can't be the only ones who are motivated by the pretty!!!

And I have to admit I didn't really "need" a good pair until Gingher came out with a design I liked ... yes ok, I suddenly needed a really good pair of scissors because they were pretty ok. I'm not sorry!

i have a.set of gingher storks that were a gift from a coworker before I even knew what ginger were. I have a fake pair of stork as well...hate them...then a few pairs that came out of future kits when I workers in the er...they weren't used and were going to be thrown away.....and then pair of the plastic fiskars....and then my safety ones when my DS is near. I want some of the folded ones just because i remember my aunt using them.

Thanks everyone for your kind responses and suggestions. I decided to buy gingher "lion tail" 3 1/2" pair for now. I know a pair of Dovo is in my future when I can splurge a bit. As a side note, I have loved viewing everyones work and thanks Mabel, I've enjoyed looking at your site (beautiful work)!

Oh what a wonderful price on those!! I am sooooo jealous--I love lighthouses too!!! Great bargain!!
