before i joined this forum, i would buy one kit, finish it then get another one. But since i became a member here, i just cant stop buying STASH. Now ive got about 20 - 30 kits waiting to be done. And i lost count of the number of charts. But yesterday, i decided to go to my NEW local craft shop, "JUST FOR A LOOK, I WASNT GOING TO BUY ANYTHING HONEST MY DARLING WIFE ". When i was there this little number just jumped off the shelf and landed straight in my hands. Well he looked so very very cuite that i just had to take him home with me.
Come all ye young stitchers that follows the chart

My stash used to fit in a shopping bag before I joined on here, now it has half a bookcase and three lots of drawers all to itself, never mind what I'm currently working on in my 'corner'!
Love those cut thru' designs, I have 3 in my stash - Noah's Ark and Toyshop for the girls and Haberdasherer's for me. I think they're all fab and if you do the backstitch as you go it's not so bad. You must post piccies of your progress
haha great chart..someone here did that awhile ago..loved seeing the progress on it..
and let's not mention stash..i have more than i could do in 2 lifetimes..

Before I joined this forum I had never heard of HAED and a number of other designers. I thought it was illegal to work on more than one project at a time and my charts fit in a small file cabinet and my stash in a little cupboard. Now I am grateful for a large computer hard drive to hold everything I have downloaded and have had to get two (2!) rolling storage containers (3 drawers each) to hold what I have accumulated in less than a year. And its not my fault either. really.
My son loves pirates. I love the kit you got. The back stitch shouldn't be too bad if you do it as you go along because it will really make some of the designs pop out and that will be fun to see. Can't wait for the updates on this one.

If only I had a pound for every time someone on here has blamed us all for encouraging stash acquistion..... I'd be able to get so much more stash Maybe the forum should come with a health warning - Beware stash addiction is a consequence of joining this site

Well I had lots of stash before I joined the forum so I can't really blame you all, except for the Chatelaine's. I am trying hard to stay off the site/s but it is proving hard work.
Great kit and I am sure you will enjoy stitching it. So pleased your wife is now talking to you.

I love the cut thru chart! I have a few and plan to try one for the first time. I agree with you! I started off with a shoe box and now it is 3 big rubbermaid bins plus my bedroom all along the cupboards, closet and bookshelves.
