Snowman sampler

Post by xstitch1 »

Hi all, I just finished stitching a snowman sampler but I don't know if I should make it a cushion or hang it as it is. I would appreciate your opinions

Love the colours in this ,especially the border :applesauce: I agree, a cushion would be good.

:applesauce: It would make a great cusion, or look good hanging on a wall. (I know I'm no help here). It is a really cute piece. He has an engaging smile.

How much wall space do you have.. is this going to get the proper attention as a hanging or a cushion?? I would go with a wall hanging, but that's mostly because I'm a mother.... and as a cushion and it being mostly light colors it would have a high risk factor of getting dirty quick...

I have plenty of wall space in the living room but as Nachstenliebe pointed out, I don't want to make a cushion and get dirty but it will look great in a cushion, won't it? ah I still can't decide

What's it's finished size?

I like the idea of a cushion too, or maybe you'd want to mount it on a box?

it's not large, the size is 6.3 x 3.9 inches

Thinking about it, this is a christmas design so if I make it a cushion, it will only be out and about around Christmas time so it won't get too dirty, right?

That small... it would make a nice ornamental cushion to decorate a bed. Hm? Maybe a guest bed at Christmas? Then it is unlikely to get dirty at all. :)

What about a tiny cusion that you hang on a door to a linen closet or something like that have you seen what I am talking about.. they aren't as full as a couch cushion...but still not as flat as a picture ope that is as clear as muddy water.
