About buying tickets... when I first showed my daughter this forum, and told her how much I enjoy it, her first question was: and when will you meet them?
Now, some more photos of all these delicacies and we may have to call together a world-wide meeting of the forum!
If any of us wins the lottery, please, buy the plane tickets!

You'd better be careful about that -- I joined a Flanders & Swann forum five years ago, great bunch of people and we arranged a get-together in London, and before you know it I was married to one of the members and living in England
Well, Mabel, congratulations! The dangers of the internet - don't I know it! I met my hubby oline, too

If you look at my webshots album under Other Crafts yo'll find a large (about A2 sized) calligraphy that I did of the Misalliance Song (which is all about a Bindweed wanting to marry a Honeysuckle, but their families are aghast because 'we twine to the right and they twine to the left'
Funny thing about this forum... all sorts of confessionary and cautionary tales emerge... I discovered F&S only as a postgrad, despite having what I now realise is a rare treasure: the 1967 Ballantyne coloured edition of Donald Swann's song cycle for poems by JRR Tolkien. Includes calligraphy and "decorations" by the author, and the actual music, too.
I grew up with the influence of Tom *don't drink the water and don't breathe the air* Lehrer. My parents did not approve. Naturally, this made it even better.
and I'll have banana muffins I'll be posting soon..my hubby's diabetic so I found a new recipe for him..
and while I'm backing..more cupcakes...tiramisu cupcakes...i'm experimenting..
stay tuned
