Just a little venting now. I was able to get some done today but I had to replace the pattern because my sister's whatever he is decided that it was a god idea to delete my folder from the computer which had all my cross stitchy items in their inculding patterns which by the way some I can not replace due to the fact I don not remember where I got them from and some are pretty old that I don not remember their names. So I am working on getting everything back which is a pain because I don not even know how to begin. How can someone be that rude and disrespectuful.

Okay back to the cross stitch. I am very pleased with it so far and actually I am liking the even weave. It's my first time with this material although my only complaint is it feels a little stiffer than aida but it feels good when I hold it.

Oh that is good progress!!!!! Sorry that you have lost some of your patterns, that was rather rude to delete with out asking if you had them saved elsewhere. :x

Thank you for the great and encouraging words. It has been helpful and especially with being angry it has made me want to stitch a little bit.

Rose - Some good news I forgot that I did save some of the patterns on a thumb drive but some of the recent ones I did not but thankfully the recent ones where the free designs and they were easy to find because I wrote down the site where I got them from... I am not sure why but it felt the right thing to do and thank goodness.

Oh thank goodness that you were wise enough to back them up--hopefully you will be able to rescue all of the ones you had saved previously. So sorry that this happened to you, but it does sound like it will all work out for you. :)

Okay so I haven't stitched on the cherubs for a while due to the Valentine Biscornu exchange on here and my birthday that happened earlier this week and then I wanted a little break but... I whipped out a lot yesterday and feel pretty proud of myself. So not to keep you all waiting anymore here it is!! Just to let you all know I recieved a pattern from my ex actually and it's from Mirabilia "Mermaids of the Deep" I am very excited... then I realized I have to buy EVERYTHING before I start it... It think there should be a rule/law if you're going to buy someone a project you must buy everything for it... just my opinion!
