Yes, get another one for the bottom, it looks a little unbalanced with only one, and the second will make the picture more taunt.

Another vote for a bottom dowel as well.
It does look really lovely though, so eye catching.

cool..thanks! i was thinking the 2nd one at the bottom will help weigh it down and balance it out.
seems every picture fails to capture how bright the colors really are.
ah well..i know my mom will love it.
she has wallpaper on her walls that is an offwhite and brown so the white aida will pop too..

now to start christmas!

What a wonderful finished picture. I have to agree with the other girls a dowel on the bottom is a super idea.

How could you  you said the word, how could you  Christmas. Now I am thinking about what I have to do for gifts this year. How could you do that to us. So mean.

I'm sorry to mention Christmas..lol..
I have a return "customer" who ordered 15 cards last year..
so this year she ordered 16!
soooo i have to start now as I had many other projects in mind also
last year i stitched 3 of each of the 5 designs..
this year...thankfully...all 16 are different! not so tedious

C_F, the vase of flowers is lovely. I'm a second dowel person, too: a mini-bellpull sort of thing.

16 different cards will certainly keep your interest, I guess. How complimentary to get a repeat order.

More power to your needle! I stitch so slowly that I would never get anything done from my stash if I were stitching cards, too. Unless they were hardanger, of course, which works up really quickly...

That's a lovely finish, CF -- I agree with the others about the bottom dowel, would keep it nice and taut and show it off well!

Stitching Christmas cards for others, really! I've got a job finishing our own in time :-)

I agree with a bottom dowel too.

I have problems with finishing our own Christmas cards too, but it is nice that you have a return customer, c_f.
