Hello from Kent, England

Post by SewingCafe »

Hello all. I'm new here. I'm really impressed that there is such a diverse group of people here from all over the world!

I must confess, after being made redundant whilst on maternity leave, I've decided to turn my cross-stitch hobby into a new career. It's been hard work, but I'm learning so much... I've just got to be careful not to stitch all of my stock :-)

Anyway, I'm always keen to stitch something new and different, and share ideas!

Welcome Shelley. Do you have a cafe shop? I love the idea of one of those, would spend all day there.

Hello all and thank you for your welcome. The SewingCafe is just getting off the ground. At the moment, I'm only selling things online, but the SewingCafe where people can meet and sew is the goal. I'll let you know how it goes, but still a lot to do, research and learn.
