Cure for the Big Project Boredom

Post by lacemaker2004 »

I have discovered a lovely little diversion from my big projects that doesn't get me too far off track. Sekas has a lovely set of ornaments for all the holidays that are done on paper and quick to do. They use watercolors and a combination of long and short stitches. Each one only takes about an hour to do and make very pretty little ornaments. I was working on them during lunch and I could get most of one done while eatting. The watercolors come in so many pretty colors too that it keeps thing interesting. I'll try to post some pictures of the ones that I've completed so far.

I assume when you say watercolours, you're refering to a bran/type of floss? Or do you actually paint the paper with watercolours?

No, I'm not that talented

Watercolors are lovely hand-dyed threads from Caron
