Thanks everyone - I should have another picture tonight with any luck. I have about 50 stitches to do to finish the page (which will probably take me half the night as nearly every one of them is a different colour!) :(

WOW this is so incredible!!! You've inspired me to try a HAED for myself, but I'm just not sure I'm capable! I need to look more into tent stitching, as I had never even heard of it until today.
