For My Little Niece !

Post by KerryT »

Here is my latest finish I have made it for my Niece in Dubai Just not yet sure what to do about framing it as it would be difficult to transport with glass?

Any Ideas?

I don't know about the glass but it is beautiful. I'm sure your niece will be delighted :D

Looks great. :applesauce: :applesauce:

A cushion?
or if you want it to be framed, how about acrylic safety glazing, or no glazing at all ?
These include "crystal clear acrylic glazing" as standard

Afraid I'm no help in the framing ideas department, but it is very precious. Your niece will love it! :applesauce:

I agree with mags and would do this into a pillow/cushion. Or if you would like it to hang they you could do a fabric frame and us a dowel to hang it.

All these suggestions are good ones.

Very pretty design and I also think that it would make a lovely cushion.

I agree that it would make a lovely cushion. If you do want to frame it though, just get lots and lots of bubble wrap and a nice stiff box and go nuts with it, it'll give your little niece something to play with as well as enjoying the gift itself!

Great finish Kerry. As for the framing, maybe try framing over a canvas as has been described in a recent topic in Tips and Tricks section, then you would't need glass
