If you were in the States I would say watch Michaels. AC Moore or Joannes. Will; hve to defer to your UK compatriots.

Have you tried
www.sewandsew.co.uk

I find them brilliant, they post fast too.
I buy from them and have it sent to France. Threads here are expensive so I save even with the postage costs.

I would recommend Sewandsew too, easy to order from, and soooo fast.

Yes, I like Sew and So too.

There is also Tandem Cottage, who I have also used

a little bit cheaper but I haven't looked at the relative postage costs.

This might seem an odd answer, but you could always go to Nordic Needle. They are selling DMC 6-stranded cotton for 66 cents a skein. That works out to about 34p (exchange rate is currently almost 2:1). No 17.5% VAT... They charge the actual shipping costs, and you can specify how it is sent.

I'm thinking about ordering the extra colours I need for the HAED from them.

So i ordered my floss from sew and so and i should have that next week..........it seemed the more that i bought they reduced the price, i managed to get them for 40p for each colour even though they are advertised for 47p.

I also added Tandem cottage to my favourites as it seems they allow you to type them in rather than go through the entire list.........

Thanks again, hopefully i will be able to upload the finished picture once i have done it!
