want to say sorry...

Post by coffee_freak »

I have been going through anxiety and mild depression since my husband got laid off. I haven't felt like doing anything..not even playing games with my kids. I have lost all desire to do anything. This is totally NOT like me..for those of you that have known me for awhile know I'm a very dedicated mom, wife, crafter, etc.

I have a doctors appt today to discuss getting on some meds until the rough patch passes in my life and I can start to enjoy it again.

Things have gotten better..and I know they could always be worse.
But when you are on such a life high..and then someone pulls everything out from under you and you have to start building again..it takes a mental and emotional toll on you.

I hope to be back to "normal" soon...I haven't been posting much or commenting much..or stitching much..

and I hate it.
If you get a comment of a ,I must be holding my :coffee:

Trust me I know how tough it can get and there is no need to say sorry we all understand. Get better soon and I hope you can start to feel better soon. Actually when all my stuff happened I gave up stitching and it just made things worse. When I finally picked up my stitching again it really help with my mood and well being. Try to give your self some time to stitch. Pick a small bright pattern, and make yourself a card you might be amazed how much better you will feel.

No need to be sorry CF, sending well wishes your way  Hope you're feeling in better spirits soon.

I agree with Rose, maybe it will help to pick up and stitch a small, bright and cheerful picture like a Margaret Sherry character? :)

As a teenager I thought the ups and downs in my life were dramatic. But I've found that as I got older those highs and lows were much more pronounced and effected me more. If you need to step back from the world for a bit to "right the ship" or just to find that solid ground to stand on again go right ahead. Just remember you have loving family and friends with arms outstretched to catch you if you start to fall.

Believe me I know what you are going through and it's so hard to get through every day and not understand why you can't just feel better. Hopefully the doctors can get you the right medicine and I hope you start feeling back to normal!
