Great job Kirstylou! I've been doing WW (again) since Jan 2008. I made it back to lifetime in October 2008 but since then I have kept losing and and now down a total of 52 pounds and am wearing a size 8.

I am actually trying to stop losing wieght but my body doesn't want to go into the maintenance phase for some reason.

I have lost 88 pounds since January this year, but have been hesitant to post here. I cheated, but needed to. I had weight loss surgery. I still have lots to go but feel great and am glad I did it.

I wont add my 88 pounds on unless someone else thinks it counts.

You are all doing very well. I simply gave up trying to lose, I just had enough of the lose gain cycle I was on.

Reading this thread, I can see it's time to join . . .

I've been gaining weight a little at a time for several years, until now I can't believe the result.

About 15 years ago, I worked with a nutritionist, lost 25 pounds, felt great and kept if off for quite a while. But it's back and then some. Off and on, I've been doing weight training, and I even have my own treadmill, which mostly I dust!

The last week or so, I've really felt I need to get serious, and I think 'the universe' heard me, because this morning I turned on the TV to watch Sunday Morning, and found it was a program devoted to obesity and weight loss. Timing? Not only that, but one of the success stories was about Valerie Bertinelli, the actress who lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig. I identify a bit with her, first because my name is Valerie, and now because her weight before she started losing is the weight I am now! Coincidence?!? Hmmm . . .

So I just pulled out the menu program I used with the nutritionist and dusted off the treadmill so I can USE it . . . Wish me luck!

This is the last message where I see a total, but after that, Maureen said she lost 2 pounds, and I just weighed in and lost 2 pounds myself! Yay!!!!

So that should make the total 238 - right!?

Well i joined slimmers world in may and im now at target losing 16 and a half lbs
so that will make 254 1/2lbs

Hi, I have just joined and straight away was interested in this thread as I am at weight watchers, I find stitching is a great tool in stopping me from eating. I have lost 30 pounds so far.

I think the total was 296 pounds lost, amazing, and now with my pounds off too we are at a whopping total of:

326 pounds lost

Well done to everyone, if you are anything like me, every pound is hard fought, this truly is fantatic.
