.................. I thought I'd share all my hard work with you. I've spent the past week decorating our dining room. I did it last year but hated it. It's all now complete except for cutains :D :D :D

I think its a craft I have no eye for decorating and admire those that do! It looks a lovely place to sit and eat and chat!

DIY/decorating counts as a craft in my book since not everyone can do it. Your dining room looks good. Did you make the chair covers yourself?

Nooooooooooooooooo I'm not THAT great :P :P - they were from Ebay - as was the table runner, placemats and the matching wall art - they were only ordered last Tuesday and handmade within a few days and arrived today :shock: :shock: :D

Thank you everyone - I was quite worried when I put the wallpaper up because it was quite bubbly but they all seem to have dropped out now it's dried out :D :D :D - phew :P

That is very retro :D
I love the way bubbles vanish from wallpaper, and that smell from soggy pasty paper mmmmm, I want to decorate something :thinks:

It sure is a craft to be able to pull all of the walls together and make it look comfortable. Your room looks wonderful. :applesauce:

Of course it's a craft -- after all it takes a special talent to be able to pull together all the separate bits of decoration and upholstery in a room and make it work!

Thank you everyone - I've been and got the wallpaper for the bedroom and done the ceiling and skirtings today- not taken before pics cuz it's not really worth it it's just all magnolia wiv dark brown skirtings - yuk !! I know some peeps like it but it just looks boring because the walls and ceilings same colour and it's got no real "pizazz" to it - anyhow I've settled on a nice black and white theme with red accessories/pictures/etc - keep an eye out - piccies will be coming soon - furniture doesn't get delivered until next Thursday so I've got plenty of time :D :D
