I so agree with Busy-B you can not push so hard or it will end up being a disaster and this is just to cute for that to happen.

You have made amazing progress!!!!!!

Maybe the problem is setting yourself that deadline. :thinks:
Maybe you've kind of took the pleasure out of it by making yourself think of having to get so much done by a certain time and thinking/worrying about the final deadline in your mind.

Maybe if you just forget about deadlines and say to yourself, that you're stitching purely because you like the design and that it doesn't matter when it's finished, it might help.
Then take a little break and come back when you feel like trying again. Don't put yourself under pressure.

Great advice TB :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I think there's nothing worse than looking at a project as a "chore". We have to enjoy it or put it away and look at something else. As TB said, forget the deadline :D :D :D and maybe if you're not "feeling the love" pick up the garden swing for a bit because it's much more summery and "uplifting" :D :D

Yep, you'll enjoy it more if you don't put yourself under pressure to finish it quickly.

Oh I agree with everyone else it is a fabulous piece don't spoil it for yourself by making it a chore. Good for you for only stitching if you are in the mood too. I have two projects on the go that are gifts with deadlines (thankfully I still have plenty of time. I am definitely not in a stitching mood at the moment so know exactly how you feel!

If you have a break from it when you start it again you will probably really enjoy it, I have often done this with projects so don't worry about it
