and not before time either. I was almost out of 'all occasion' cards so got busy after I had done mounting the various bits of stitching I had ready for cards. To see these see 2016 RIC SAL and Squirrel's 2015/16 stitching.

Thanks for looking.

Great job there, Sally!

I'm happy making the stitching part, either Hardanger or cross stitch, but mounting the cards I find tedious!!
Good idea to blitz them!!

Hi All I thought I would show you the latest batch of a card making stint. It's the time of year when I am on the edge of a busy birthday time so decided to put aside stitching and knitting beanies for a change of scene.

This is the result of 2 afternoon's work.

Whilst hunting around for more insert paper I came across a folder of origami paper folding aka teabag folding and decided to do a few.
The lower picture is what it looks like when finished. They are fiddly but lots of fun to make.

Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful selection of cards you have made Sally.

The teabag folding was VERY popular at one point if I remember correctly, and I am wondering too how you get them into an envelope.

That is a lovely stash to have to hand. :applesauce:

The Teabag folding cards with the upstanding portions are quite easy to put into an envelope. One just flattens them and then when taken out just gently pinch the sides and up they come. No problems at all thank goodness :whoop:  .

They are beautiful and elegant like all your works. The saying "If a person is talented, she is talented in everything" is true about you.
Very well done.
Looking forward to your new creations. Happy crafting!

That's a lovely collection you've made, Sally!

How did you manage to cut so closely around the bear    ?!?

I guess it would years of practice at cutting out odd bits from boxes once emptied - plus a very sharp pointed pair of small scissors which are light, thin bladed and great for small cutting outs. :)
