No idea what I'll do with it, other than throw it over a sofa or bed somewhere. I never think that far ahead. It's the actual making of it that I enjoy

That's incedible, it looks exactly like a carousel seen from the top!

I haven't updated this thread for ages, but do have some progress to show. I finished one of the Last Dance blankets.
I have all the squares finished for Dance in the rain, but have yet to join them.
Carousel is getting there.
I just need to finish the border on it now.
Because working on those, plus the ripple that hasn't seen the light of day for some time, wasn't enough, I started another blanket in January
It's a temperature blanket. Usually they're worked in rows. The colour for each row is determined by the high temperature of that day. You pick your colours and assign a temperature range to each one. Then you do a row for each day of the year. I felt like being different though and decided to do a hexie for each day. I can't do one for each day of the year as I'm doing it in rounds and I'll need to stop this month. It's going to be pretty huge at that point anyway
I'm a bit behind on it but this is where it was when I last took a photo. Greys/blues for the cooler temps, shading to purples/pinks for the warmer.
I've no idea when any of the four current projects will be finished as I've started stitching and scrapbooking again now, but they'll get there one day

What lovely work
A very good friend recently tried to teach me to crochet, it did not go well at all, I kept trying to knit with it! (I am a keen knitter as well as cross stitch)

Crocheting was my craft until I started stitching. Made a lot of afghans. And more afghans. Some of which turned into bedspreads. None of them as beautiful as these are. Glad to see them again!

I've finished Carousel
More pictures here
We've started a craft club at work so I've been taking my crochet along to that so this didn't take long to finish at all. I'm planning on getting lots of things finished this year
