OT: Showing off!

Post by Serinde »

My brother's Etsy shop. He's so clever, it's amazing! :king: (And no matter what he says, he does look like Father Christmas.)

They are unique - not seen that kind of thing before. Such tiny things to make & must be fiddly. Lovely to see them, thanks for sharing. :D

They are lovely! I see several that I want already!

Umm.. may I make a small suggestion for you to pass on to him about his photography? I have photographed plenty of jewelry for my mom (she makes it too - out of gold and gemstones) and there's one thing she's always very particular about. The fabric that her pieces are laying on MUST be ironed. It's a small thing but it adds an amazing amount of polish to the final photos. Maybe it's because I've spent so much time photographing my mom's stuff and she's a perfectionist, but the creases in the background fabric jumped out at me right away and I found them very distracting. Your brother's jewelry is gorgeous and deserves to be shown off at its very best.

I wish him the best of luck in selling on etsy.. it can be a crazy ride, but it can be a LOT of fun!

Great earrings! (Unfortunately I am terribly allergic to copper, or I'd get some!) :anotherfrog:
