A basket

Post by mauveme »

A wee one. Saw some on Pinterest and thought I would give it a go. Didn't have a pattern so I just winged it. Will try a larger one when I get some more yarn

It was quite thick. One of those huge balls of the Red Heart stuff that I got from WalMart a few years ago, Had just a little left over from a lap blanket I made. Used a #5 hook. It was good because it gave the basket body enough to not collapse.

And I was stratigic in taking the pic, No one could see the join, need to work on that, not too neat and I think I added a stitch or two in the process. It kind of bows out a little..
