I made it, and gave it to the church as a fund raiser

Awesome afghan. It's great you've donated to a church sale. Reminds me of the afghan I saw at a local church penny sale over the weekend. Buy tickets and place each one into the buckets of each item. I placed 8 tickets for the handmade afghan. Someone will be very fortunate to own the piece. As a craftsman anything made by hand is admired and respected, cared with TLC.

That is such a beautiful afghan and I know that the church really appreciates such a very nicely crocheted contribution!!!

:applesauce: Very pretty afghan! Before I discovered cross stitching, I was addicted to crocheting and made lots of afghans then (I must be addicted to afghans). Yours is especially lovely!

Carole, I 've made a number of afghans over the years. I love working with the colors. It's hard to decide, cross stitch, crochet, cross stitch, crochet, what to do, what to do. I have a large stash of yarn as well as floss. So on a moments whim, I can do either. I was working on an afghan last year, but decided I needed to change focus, so it is just waiting for my attention. Someday.
