It's second hand off ebay so I'm not sure - it looks like there's a name on it - Gobelin. Maybe thats the make?

Hi All, sorry I haven't been around for a while. I have missed so much and everone has achieved soo much. I'm looking forward to looking through all the SALs. Although I've not been around I have been getting a bit done to my needlepoint every now and then. Here's my progress...

I'm nearly finished but unfortunately I've run out of some of the wool. Does anyone know where I can get Appleton Crewel wool from in the UK??

It looks great! I love the effect of crewel wool. If you'd like to support a local needlework shop, you could call Stitches' Coven (07810 671105) which I visited on the Isle of Wight last July -- slightly more expensive but no postage and extremely helpful!

Thank you all for your encouragement! I've ordered the wools from Willow Fabrics thanks SusanF. Thanks Mabel and Serinde for your suggestions too, but I just went with the first one I saw! I have to wait now for them to be delivered as it could take up to 21 days from date of order - I'm very impatient as I'm so close to finishing it now and I just want it done! Then I can get back to one of my many x-stitch WIPs.

I will update soon when I get going on this again.

Needle point was a love of mine in a former life. I had sort of forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me!
