Finally got it stitched together. Now my brother wants me to knit him a sweater, want's a jacket with a shawl collar, ordered yarn today for a chart I found on Revelry. And it's unisex. may do one for myself too as it has buttons.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: It looks fabulous and will be so lovely and snuggly warm during your cold days.
I am not surprised your brother wants you to knit something for him too. :)

:applesauce: :applesauce: That is a lovely sweater. You knit absolutely beautifully. I knitted one thing in my lifetime and it was a vest that I wore only because I had knitted it, not because it fit properly (didn't), was beautiful (wasn't) or because I liked it (didn't). My aunt who was an amazing knitter helped me. Hardest thing I ever made. I really admire your talent.

Wow, that's fantastic!! I can crochet but I just can't knit. I tried. I think there was just too much counting (said the person who loves counted cross stitch).

I bought an electronic counter that fits on my thumb. Push a button and your row is counted. Only cost me $8. Best thing since sliced bread lol

Wow, it is a lovely warm sweater. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:
The colour is ideal as it will go with everything. I like knitting but it takes me so long to knit a sweater.
I am not surprise that you are now getting orders! :D

Never heard of an electronic row counter before. What a great idea. Only know the ones you twist round end of each row but I used to forget to do so so still never knew how many rows I'd done until I counted them myself.

Oh it's great, and only about $8. It shuts off when not in use but still remembers your rows when you turn it on.

So kind of you to post that pic Linda. Thank you. I looked on Amazon earlier this afternoon & saw one like that only in red. costs £2.49 inc. postage so a bargain. I saved the page & was going to ask you if it was similar to yours. Had good reviews. Some were cheaper & obviously not good write ups. I will buy one. Am not knitting at the moment but need to start again soon, this gadget will be very handy. They do have other colours if any one doesn't like red but I was really reading about it as it looked sturdier than cheaper ones. Good idea to keep it in an old pill container.

Thank you. Everyone is so helpful on here :D :D Oh, just thought, don't think they had one in mauve not sure  (Said with tongue in cheek of course  )

I've ordered a green one, the company Eastman Staples on had that or red. Other companies had different colours. One had a mauvey pink. Several different companies selling them, one company charged 60p. plus postage! That had mixed reviews, but the one I bought has good reviews & 4 stars. Better to pay a bit more & get a counter that works as it should & lasts longer than a few weeks. I'm glad you said yours remembers from previous time the row numbers. I made sure the one I chose did. It is a thumb one too.

I'll post pic in Stash & Acquisitions when it comes :) Knowing Amazon it could come today but probably tomorrow - Weds.
