Thanks ladies.

I have been a very naughty girl. I have cancelled my on call nurse shift on Sunday so I can sit and stitch all day. I'm sick of not having "me" time. Todays my day off but I cant stitch, have to go down to take mum to the doctors, take her cats to the vets for immunisations, deliver the food I cooked yesterday (on my other day off this week..grrr), get dad to the dementia day centre. Then I have to take mum shopping, pop down to the local hospital and see my sister. Oh and somewhere find a couple of hours to do some quizes for my annual nurse updates for CPR ect tomorrow morning before I head off to work in the afternoon. AGH. Then I finish at 9pn and have to be back at 9am on saturday for an 8pm finish. Where am I supposed to find some time to stitch... :ratherbe:

Barb I really don't know how you cope with it all.

:stars: :stars: The frame is just so right for this gorgeous one and I love the hin of blue on the matts. Great idea to have that there. :stars: :stars:

:x: :x: you get some time to do some stitching very soon.

Don't blame you for needing some me time. What are you hoping to stitch next when you find some spare minutes?

Congratulations, Barb, on a beautiful finish. Excellent frame choice, as well.
Hope you find yourself some more time to stitch.

Go to the Top of the Class Seinde. So good to see Barb's SAL back up again. I was privileged to see these in the flesh when I was there in October. :)

*barb* wrote:Tomorrow is my mums birthday. I am going down after work. This is what i made for her. I found the kit in my stash back in December when i was cleaning..i dont even remember buying it

The kit is a dimensions daydreams one. It came complete with the glass, backing paper and stand.

Whilst you cant see it in the photo I used krenick blending filament in the rose and in the background shading.

At the moment I am working on European Bistro. It''s quite easy really just very large.

I am starting back at college next week 2 days a week and work 31/2 days a week so it will be agood one to pick up during the semester as I dont think I''ll have much time for alot of stitching.

The wolves is at the framer
I have been looking at my old stitching here. This was the last piece I stitched for my mum before she passed away. It's in my memory Box. Oh I can see her face when I gave it to her and in the back of my mind I can hear her voice.

That is absolutely gorgeous Barb and I know you treasure it for its memories. Looking forward to seeing where you are with your current WIP's.
Most of us are using postimage to load out photos onto here. It is so easy and quick and free too unlike PB which went all money money money please.

Big huge thank you for finding my thread. My search function isn't allowing me access. It was so nice to look back at my past work and see the rose and smile.

Was going to upload photos of current stitchings but my virus scanner has blocked photobucket :tantrum: Will work on technology another day!

I have found a large hammer is a great threat that almost invariably makes technology suddenly decide to work. And if it doesn't, it's very, very satisfying to use.

Also, if you are considering photobucket; don't. They seem to be going through all their free accounts & making sure the adverts are so obnoxious it's not worth using, and they are changing the settings to ensure that only paid-for accounts can share images over the web. The minimum rate is $30 a month for this service.
I think 'Commercial Suicide' is the technical description of their behaviour.

Regards,

Richard.
