WIP - Egyptian Extravagance

Post by Aztek »

Hi all, thought I would share my current project with you all. It's an Anchor kit that I have been working on for about a month now.

I'll try and keep the updates coming fortnightly, only because when I look at the pics I take weekly it doesn't look like I have made much progress.

This is what the finished product should look like...

This is where I am currently up to...

Could be a while before this one sees a frame.

Projects don't HAVE to be finished within a month, you know -- I love seeing people's large projects develop over a longer period (even if, or perhaps precisely because, I'm very bad at big projects myself). And this one looks to be a stunner!

Excellent start! :applesauce: You've got loads done in just a month. Do you stitch every day? I can only stitch big projects at the weekends so I'm a really slow stitcher.

Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone, makes me want to head in and do some more now.

I do try and stitch everyday for a while, usually while the wife and I watch TV at night after the little ones have gone to sleep (after I have done my chores of course)
