I wish I'd done just that Wendy, but as I'd never done backstitch before I thought I'd put it off til the end. Foolish mistake ....

It's such a beautiful piece to begin with, but that back stitching really makes it pop and brings it to life. I'll be patiently sitting here waiting for your next update.

I love this design and your execution is beautiful.

I hatehatehate backstitching, but when the design calls for it, it's gotta be done. I also backstitch as I go or I couldn't deal with it.

Always difficult decision, though, on where to stop as you don't want to encroach on the next part of the pattern.

Great update, the backstitching is bringing out it's true beauty. I like anything Egyptian & this is truly beautiful. Not seen this design until you put it on here. Look forward to next update, :applesauce: :applesauce:
