Re: maeflowers' WIP's
I am another one who remembers you and its great to have you back with us again.
What a beautiful wee tot your daughter is and I love the dress. Well done on getting to grips with your sewing machine - now you will be able to make all her clothes. My DD and I went fabric shopping at the weekend and I bought 2 lengths to make a couple of dresses for myself and some off cuts to make some half aprons too. Its so handy being able to make your own things.
Oh dear 19 skeins of black, that will take some doing for sure. Good luck. What make of scroll frame have you got?

What a gorgeous little girl!!!!!!
Nice work on the dress, when my daughter was little I would sometimes make outfits for her. But sewing is really not my thing.

It's called Edmund's Stitcher's Wonder. It's pretty difficult for me to get the fabric taut and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.Squirrel wrote:What make of scroll frame have you got?

Re: maeflowers' WIP's
Popping in to say hello.
I recently finished a project- Golden Girls for a friend!
Other than that I've been pretty busy. We've moved all over the place and finally (hopefully) are settling down long-term. I now have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. My son just turned 2 yesterday. I can't say with any certainty that I'll be back regularly yet but I do hope so. <3

Wonderful project to return with! So very glad that you have popped in and hope you will have time to pop in again sooner rather than later! Sounds like you have been very busy, but glad to hear it is good things (like your son) that are keeping you hopping!
